🍀 Happy March, Cycle Breakers! Today’s episode is about how we can parent gently when we’re sick or unwell. I, Marcela, have been feeling under the weather lately. As you know, parenting doesn’t stop just because we’re sick. And, that can make an already demanding role even more challenging, making it harder to parent peacefully.

🤒 Whenever anyone at home is sick, it always adds another layer of challenges and concerns. We try to look after them and help make them as comfortable as possible. However, when the default parent isn’t feeling well, we often don’t receive the same treatment and it’s abundantly clear that the show must go on.

😮‍💨 However, there are some things you can practice to make the experience more tolerable and less stressful, so that you and your family are taken care of while you recuperate.

🤗 Show yourself grace, accept that your body needs rest, things will be left undone, and do the best you can under the circumstances. It’s enough — we promise!
